Furniture and Upholstery Cleaning

You and your family spend hours sitting on your favorite chairs, couches and sectionals. You owe it to yourself to keep them clean. A couch acts as a giant air filter in your home, filling with airborne dust over time. This dust then combines with the dander and body oil that have become trapped in the upholstery, and eventually, in the foam. So you can understand why we recommend professional furniture cleaning. With regular steam cleanings, you can keep these delicate fabrics looking, feeling and smelling good.
    • A Tailored Approach to Upholstery Cleaning

After examining your upholstery, we determine the best furniture cleaning method to safely achieve the desired results.

    • Remove Dirt, Allergens and More

We extract dirt, spots and allergens from upholstery, using an EPA Safer Choice cleaning solution that doesn’t leave a residue.

    • Dry Within Hours

Depending on the type of fabric, after your upholstery cleaning your furniture will be dry within 2 to 6 hours.

    • Extend the Life of Your Upholstery Cleaning

To extend the life of your upholstery cleaning, we can apply a protector that aids in the prevention of damage from harmful dirt and spills.

    • Enjoy Increased Durability

In addition to dirt and spills, our SuperShield Plus protector also defends against everyday wear and tear on your favorite pieces of furniture.

    • A Must-Have for Kids and Pets

SuperShield protection is a great idea for preserving the results of every upholstery cleaning, but we especially recommend it to those with kids and pets.

    • Neutralize Odors from Pets, Kids and More

From food to kids to pets, your home is filled with odors that can become trapped in the fibers of your upholstery. That’s why we recommend an application of our deodorizer.

    • Don't Mask Upholstery Smells. Remove Them.

Our deodorizer acts to remove odors from your upholstery, immediately neutralizing them at their source, rather than simply covering up the smell.

    • A Fresh Start for Your Home

After your furniture cleaning, a application of our deodorizer will leave your upholstery smelling fresh and clean, making your entire home feel renewed.

    • Vacuum Lightly to Remove Allergens

Gently vacuuming your upholstered furniture will remove dust particles, as well as food and dirt that may go unnoticed.

    • Be Careful With Colorful Furniture Fabrics

Watch out for dark-colored blankets and throws that could transfer their color onto the fabric of your furniture.

    • Professional Spot Remover

Use our Stanley Steemer Professional Spot Remover to treat spots and spills on your furniture, acting quickly to remove the substance before it penetrates the fibers. Our Spot Remover is Certified asthma & allergy friendly® and EPA Safer Choice-certified.

Leather Couch Cleaning

While leather furniture isn’t as absorbent as more common types of upholstery, it still takes on the same dirt and pollutants. Plus, leather can dry out over time, losing its softness. Our technicians are trained to clean, moisturize and protect your leather furniture too.

    • Remove Dirt and Soil from Upholstery

When we clean upholstery we apply—and then remove—a cleaner that wipes out damaging soils. No residue, no dirt.

    • Prep for Moisturizer

We heat the leather on your furniture to open its pores so it will accept the moisturizer.

what to expect

  1. Before We Show Up

Once you’ve scheduled a cleaning, your job is almost done. We only ask that you remove fragile or valuable items from the rooms being cleaned and that you secure your pets.

  2. Our Iconic Yellow Van Arrives

Upon arrival, we’ll inspect the pieces of furniture to be cleaned, and discuss the whole process with you. Our technicians look closely for rips and pulls to ensure we don’t cause any further damage while cleaning. Then it’s time to begin.

  3. Now for the fun part

Depending on the type of upholstery, our technicians will select the best cleaning process for the job. Oftentimes we clean your fabric furniture using the same proprietary hot-water extraction process we use on carpet. This extracts dirt, stains and allergens with an EPA Safer Choice cleaning solution that doesn’t leave a residue.

  4. Satisfaction Guaranteed

Before leaving, we’ll complete a final inspection to make sure you’re happy. Depending on the type of upholstery, your furniture will be dry in 2 to 6 hours.
