The Roanoke/Salem Franchise first opened its doors in 1977. In 1994, David Mount became the franchise owner and has owned the Roanoke franchise ever since. David has over 45 years of experience with Stanley Steemer, having owned multiple Stanley Steemer locations over the years. He is always striving to develop and expand the business in ways that benefit the customer, the employees, and the community. Currently, the day-to-day operations of the Salem franchise are run by Ryan Mount, David’s son, and Jason Fender, David’s son-in-law. The Salem franchise also has a satellite location in the Wytheville area.
The Roanoke/Salem franchise currently has 10 carpet cleaning trucks, 2 air duct trucks, and 2 restoration trucks. They employ approximately 40 people. In addition to the standard Stanley Steemer services of carpet, upholstery, hardwood & laminate floor, and tile & grout cleaning, the Salem, Virginia franchise offers many different services, including air duct and dryer vent cleaning, water, fire and smoke restoration, carpet sales and installation, VCT strip and wax services, wind damage, mold, and lead remediation, and vehicle and area rug cleaning. They strive to be the best at everything they do, so that they will be the only company a customer will ever need or want to use.
Stanley Steemer of Salem and Roanoak gives back to the community. They contribute to a wide variety of local events, from small local school fundraisers to large local fairs. They also donate both money and time to organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and the Ronald McDonald House.
