The Napa, California franchise is run by Bill and Cyndy Smalanskas. Bill has been working for Stanley Steemer since 1980, originally starting a branch in Florida, but moving back to California in 1985 to work as Operations Manager for the North Bay Stanley Steemer. In 1995, Bill and his wife Cyndy purchased the Napa and Solano territories from the North Bay Stanley Steemer and initially ran the business out of their home with three vans. Today they have a beautiful Napa office facility and operate 7 vans.
Stanley Steemer of Napa prides itself on retaining quality employees. Two of their employees have been with them since the very beginning, but most of the employees of Stanley Steemer of Napa and Solano have been with Bill and Cyndy no less than 7 years. Larry Nelson transferred from the North Bay franchise. Justin Dwinell came on board in 1996 as a tech. assistant but proved to be an invaluable asset; today, he not only cleans carpets, but keeps all the Stanley Steemer vans running at peak performance. Cathy Tracy, the office manager, has been with Stanley Steemer of Napa and Solano for nearly 12 years and has built a rapport with the new and repeat customers. She often goes above and beyond her job description to ensure that customers’ needs are met.
Stanley Steemer of Napa and Solano have been active with the Napa Chamber of Commerce and are proud members of the Better Business Bureau. Additionally, Bill and Cyndy have given donations and contributions to various charitable organizations and fundraisers over the years. In the last few years they have actively sponsored participants in the Relay for Life foundation. In years past, they have worked with Molly’s Angels, Catholic Charities and the Boys and Girls Club of Napa.
