Dear Stanley Steemer,

What a wonderful experience it has been to have our kitchen (hardwood) floor refinished by Ryan and Steve! They worked extremely hard and the floor looks brand new--I certainly never thought that would be the case.

We have three Labrador retrievers and two of our children have large dogs with big toenails too! As far as I was concerned, the floor that we had put down in 1997 was ruined. There was so much wear and tear that the wood was exposed, pitted and gray. It was subliminally depressing to come in to the kitchen, and I hid as much of the damage as I could under rugs.

When Ryan came to examine the floor and suggest what had to be done, he told me that it would look as good as new-- maybe even better--when he was finished. He showed me pictures, before and after, of other floors he had refinished; they looked great but I really didn't think ours would turn out as well--I thought it was too wrecked for that!

Well, as he promised, the floor looks fantastic... I can't believe that it's the same floor! They did a wonderful job and there was no dust, and the smell was hardly noticeable. We will, of course, follow the instructions he left on the curing of the finish. Both my husband and I are so pleased with the job. Thank you for a job well done!

Dear Stanley Steemer,

Betsy and I arrived home Thursday night a few hours after you finished our floors, and we were totally amazed at what we saw! The floors were much more beautiful that when they were installed almost 23 years ago. We were so pleased.

Wednesday morning your crew leader Steve showed me several stains on the floor besides the natural finish, and it was an easy choice to go with the natural. Thanks to you and Steve for your guidance in this selection. This finish really allows each board to contribute its own hue to the overall beauty of the floor, and the result is spectacular. Just as you told me, the house was literally less dusty that when we left home, and there was almost no smell of fumes. What a magnificent improvement to our home in just a few days!

I wanted to write a short note to you to express my gratitude for the work you and your staff performed on the hardwood floors at my house in Powell, Ohio. The process of trying to get a house ready to sell, especially a house that is out-of-state, is quite stressful. You and your staff helped alleviate a lot of that stress. Two days after you refinished the hardwood floor in the kitchen we had our first open house. The kitchen was a tremendous selling point. Before, I was trying to find ways to hide the floor, now I wanted to highlight them. Everyone who walked through the house remarked on how beautiful the hardwood floor was! The house sold in two weeks for $3,000 over the original listed price!

Thanks again for the tremendous results—the floors truly looked better than new. I know that the WOW factor of walking in the front door and seeing that beautiful hardwood floor in the kitchen as a lot to do with the selling of the house.
