The stanley steemer sand and refinish process
1.	Service begins with a thorough analysis and consultation.	7.	After these are attended to, your floor is again vacuumed and tacked until clean.
2.	We then carefully inspect the floor for needed repairs, set any protruding nail heads, and remove staples.	8.	If requested, we'll then apply the stain of your choice.
3.	Next we prepare your floor for sanding by removing vent covers and thoroughly vacuuming the area.	9.	If stain has been applied, we'll wait for it to completely dry, then apply a quick-drying sealer.
4.	As your floor is sanded, a powerful, dust-containment system attached to the refinishing equipment virtually eliminates dust.	10.	After the sealer dries, an extremely durable polyurethane finish is applied according to manufacturer recommendations.
5.	An edger is used to sand areas, like corners, which are inaccessible to the sanding machine. We hand sand areas the edger cannot reach.	11.	Before we leave, we will discuss drying and curing times with you.
6.	The floor is inspected a second time for nail holes, sander marks, or cracks in the floor.	12.	We'll also provide information on proper maintenance practices, so you can enjoy your beautiful refinished floor longer.
